Growing up within a family of artists, Yomama had dreams of becoming a professional stylist. Her mother had an interest in fashion and so she decided to become a stylist. She has been spending years assisting some of the greatest stylists in Milan.

Much like his dual culture, African and Italian, many of her visions appear paradoxical, combining unlikely colours and fabrics with avant-garde silhouettes. Yomama draws much of her influence from dance, notably the shapes and movements of her fabrics when worn.
