El Maataoui Haffid, an Moroccan–Italian raised in Faenza, has always intertwined his multicultural identity with his creative journey. After moving to Milan to explore opportunities as a model and ceramist, he combined his retail job with his artistic passions, finding fertile ground in the city for self-expression.

As a son of the Arab diaspora, Maataoui is deeply connected to themes of identity and belonging. This led him to found One of the Many, an agency that celebrates the talents of Italy’s second-generation immigrants, giving voice and visibility to a new generation of creatives and professionals.
