Joy Awosika, 21 years old, born and raised in Milan, of Nigerian descent from both parents.

He is one of the young promises of Italian skateboarding. Looking at Joy’s skateboarding tecnique, he has a very confident and old-school styl, supported by a dress code heavily influenced by the great classics of early 90s and 2000s hip-hop culture like Lil Wayne and The Game.

His cultural background is a blend of Nigerian and Italian, which is reflected in his style. He draws inspiration from both black culture and the thriving skateboarding scene among Afro-Americans. The influence of sk8 culture is particularly strong in his work.
